Before I even had my first post up - it turns out the name I have selected for this blog has caused even more reaction than I first had hoped. It has been identified as potential Spam and is in danger of being removed from Blogger.com.
Here is where I am coming from:
- I am a software development manager @ Intergen
- I think I am pragmatic in the way I write software and I try to coach my teams to do the same
- I have been using Extreme Programming for 6-ish years
I wanted to start a blog that explored why as an industry we have euphemised the names of perfectly good development disciplines (scrum / XP) and applied a watered-down palatable noun for business types in their place.
I was also going to use this as a repository for my general thoughts around XP.
Lets see what happens :D
